Baritone Daniel Teadt will perform Robert Schumann's Dichterliebe (A poet's love), a pinnacle of the art song repertoire, in a new arrangement for piano quintet. Kara Cornell will perform Jake Heggie & Gene Scheer's Camille Claudel: Into the fire, which depicts the passion, artistry and madness in the French Sculptor's life. Written for mezzo Joyce DiDonato, the work "compresses a tragic life of operatic dimensions into a song cycle of great beauty and emotional resonance" (NY Times)
